Composition and main characteristic
Gel for expansion of root canal contains 17% EDTA and 10% urea peroxide in an aqueous glycol solution. The gel in the role of lubrication facilitates movement of the file and chemically acting expands the root canal. Reacting with peroxide, sodium hypochlorite begins actively foam, helping disclose obliterated narrow mouth of tooth root canals. It increases the penetration of drugs through the root canal system, causing it a thorough cleaning and opening the dentinal tubules.
