Use for conservative dentistry at treatment of deep caries for pulp protecting from bacterial, chemical, thermal and mechanical influences.
Composition and main characteristic
Replex-SC consists of a base and a catalyst paste of a flowable consistency. It is prepared immediately before use. The main paste is colored white and contains 50% of calcium hydroxide, the catalyst paste is colored beige. The working time for mixing the main and catalyst pastes in a ratio of 1:1 by volume (at a room temperature of 18-23 °C) is at least 90 seconds. Duration of hardening in the oral cavity – no more than 5 minutes. Cement has the ability to long-term maintenance of a high alkaline reaction (up to pH = 12), stimulates regeneration processes in the tissues of the tooth, and has a strong antimicrobial effect.
